Mr. Richard M. Ledford, age 74, of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, February 15, 1940, son of the late Floyd R. Ledford and Flonnie Siniard Ledford. Mr. Ledford was a member of New Life Ministries, Adairsville and retired from Chemical Products. A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, he enjoyed collegiate girls' softball, and with a good sense of humor you were sure to hear a good joke. He loved spending time with family, especially granddaughter Presley. Mr. Ledford was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roland, Jimmy, Tex and Joe Frank Ledford.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Gulledge Ledford of Adairsville; children, Ricky and Lara Ledford, Cole and Katie Ledford, Brian Mascia, and Dani and Jack Adams; grandchildren, Presley Ledford, Landon and Rance Hightower, Cody, Kyle, and Lexi Adams, Kylie, Ken, and Annabel Mascia; sisters, Daisey Kirkpatrick of Pine Log, Rita Ledford of Rydal, Florence and Clifford Bell of Acworth, and Donna Ledford of Adairsville; brother Jerry and Mary Ledford of Acworth and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 1:00 PM from chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Steve Morrow, Rev. Randy Gulledge, and Rev. Steve Kirkpatrick officiating.
