Mr. Robert Henry Buttrum, SR, age 63, of Martin Luther King Drive, Adairsville, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the residence.

Mr. Buttrum was born in Marietta, GA, on November 1, 1953, son of the late Buford Leon Buttrum and Clemes Ethel Chastain McTaggart. He loved spending time with his family, going fishing and picking his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roxanne Hand Buttrum; brothers, Charles Buttrum, Stanley, Gene, Danny, and Tony McTaggert.

Survivors include his children, Robert (Christy) Buttrum, Jr of Fairmount, David (Nicole) Douglas, of Eddington, ME, and Tiffany Samiec of New York, NY; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Wayne) Bridges of Marietta, Janice (Harry) Gravett of Marietta, Rose (Pete) Williams; brothers, Jackie (Regina) Buttrum of Yorkville and Randy McTaggert of Marietta; his dog, Blue and several niece and nephews.

A celebration of Mr. Buttrum's Life will be held at a later date.
