Obituary
Mr. Robert Roger Hicks, age 69, of Old Highway 140, Adairsville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hicks was born in Portersville, AL, November 28, 1946, son of the late Bill and Tressie Maudie Parker Hicks. He enjoyed fishing, and working on old cars. Mr. Hicks is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Higgins Hicks.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin Bramblett of Adairsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Kimberly Hicks of Adairsville and Stetson Hicks of Adairsville; grandchildren, Amber Niles, Adam Bramblett, Scotty Seay, and Stephen Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Avery Niles, Braylen Hicks, Toliver Hudson, and Lillian Hudson; sisters, Louise Crowder and Lucille Fickett; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2016, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Adairsville.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Robert Roger Hicks.
