Mr. Robert Aaron Millwood, age 82, of Manning Mill Way, Adairsville, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Etowah Landing, Rome.

He was born in Douglasville, Georgia, November 3, 1932, son of the late Jesse Clyde Millwood and Allie Bowles Millwood. Mr. Millwood was a member of Adairsville First Christian Church and served in the United States Air Force and National Guard. He worked for thirty-seven years at Lockheed Martin before retiring. Mr. Millwood enjoyed listening to gospel music, watching baseball and football, and spending time with his family. Mr. Millwood was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth "Kenny" Millwood and brothers, James and J.D. Millwood.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Louise Bramblett Millwood of Adairsville; children, Michael Millwood of Adairsville, Eddie and Kim Millwood of Holly Springs, Jackie Millwood of Dallas, and Keith Millwood of Adairsville, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church, Adairsville with Min. Danny Pelfrey officiating.
