Mr. Robert "Bobby" Ralph West, Sr., age 84, of 59 Boyd Mountain Road, Adairsville, passed away Saturday evening, March 26, 2016 at the residence.

Mr. West was born in Adairsville, February 10, 1932, son of the late Isaac George West and Rosa Ellis West. He was a member of First Christian Church of Adairsville. Mr. West was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Harbison-Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 51 years, Betty Pritchett West; son, Robert "Robbie" West, Jr.; daughter, Mary Smith; a great-granddaughter, Jade Montgomery; sisters, Elizabeth Everette, Catharine Harris and Marie Hamilton; and brothers, Jack, Bud, and J. N. West.

Survivors include his daughters, Ramona (Dean) Hunter of Kingston; DeeDee (Bruce) Herron of Adairsville; son, Shane West of Adairsville; daughter-in-law, Tresa West; son-in-law, Scott Smith; brother, Bill (Wilma) West of Adairsville; special sister-in-law, Barbara (Paul) Clark of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jada West, Jamie Long, Hope Dupree, Brooke Long, Faith Night, Ashley Silvey, Isaac Abernathy, Tiffany Smith, and Kattie Smith; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM from the First Christian Church, Adairsville with Rev. Chris Hall and Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Todd West, Charles Bill West, Jerome West, Terry West, Dean Hamilton, Randy Harris, Gary West, and Terry West. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony, Andy, and Greg Leatherwood, Dowis and Shae Satterfield, Greg Coker, Andy Adams, Melvin Edwards, Randy Brown, and Talmadge Hollaran.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
