Mrs. Jennie Robin Baker Guthrie, age 63, of Adairsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Robin was born in Cartersville, Georgia, April 21, 1961, daughter of the late Amos W. Baker and Jennie Ruth Shook Baker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Nathan Baker (Joyce) and Tommy Baker. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and retired from the Bartow County Schools.  She spent many enjoyable years taking care of children and was known as momma #2 to hundreds of kids in the community. Robin was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend.

Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Billy Guthrie; sons, Jeremy and Anja Ferguson and Josh and Laurel Ferguson; granddaughters, Kaitlin Ferguson, Madeline Ferguson and Aubrey Ferguson; brothers, Bill and Sybil Baker and Rev. David and Sue Baker; sisters, Janie and Joel Mauldin, Jeanelle Abernathy, Alice and Frank Ray, and Joyce Overby; sister-in-law, Linda Baker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Reverends Jeremy Ferguson and Ronnie Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Greg Mauldin, Justin Baker, Dwayne Abernathy, Shane Abernathy, Thomas Baker, Jr, and Michael Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
