Mr. Rodney Floyd Van Rosendale, age 66, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 5, 2023.

He was born in Puyallup, Washington, August 21, 1956, son of Rosetta Criss Van Rosendale and the late John Burton Van Rosendale. He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Frank Deaver. Rodney was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a simple man who enjoyed life. Rodney loved his family, fishing and scratching a lottery ticket every now then. He was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his sons, Ryan and Farrah Van Rosendale, Wes and Ashley Van Rosendale, and Nick and Courtney Van Rosendale; mother, Rose Van Rosendale; grandchildren, Anthony, London, Tesseana, Domenik, Lilleyn, Kaliya, Aloysia, Alexander, Sage, Giovanni and William; great-grandchildren, Ry'Lyn and Maddox; sisters, Rita Jensen, Patsy McConnell, Rhonda Perales(Sam), and Audrey Van Rosendale(Kelly Layne); brother, Steven Van Rosendale(Kimberly); the mother of his children, Marie Dow; special friend, Marissa Buresh and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Rodney's life will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 4:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the funeral home.
