Obituary
Ms. Rose Ann Ferrell, age 56, of Owensby Lane, Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017.
She was born in the Gardenia, California on September 3, 1961, daughter of the late Albert Vincent Shirah and Mary Moreno Gross. Ms. Ferrell was of the Christian faith. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed decorating, going to yard sales, and cooking. A caring and kindhearted lady, she was always there to help everyone. She was an amazing person who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Vinson Shirah, Terry Shirah, and Billy Ayers.
Survivors include her fiancé, Anthony Owensby; son, Justin (Jessica) Ferrell; daughters, Shelly Lambert and Misty (Dustin) Pope; several grandchildren; sisters, Lavone Cox, Shelia Millican, Darlene Hartman, Brenda Hastings, Diane Wright, Dale Miller, Candy Dean, Patty Ayers, and Tiffany Ayers; brothers, Tony Vance, Joe Ayers, Tracy Shirah, Michael Shirah, Hobart Ayers, Jr., Donny Ayers, and Scotty Ayers; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Reverands Bobby and Sally Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Towe Chapel Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Ms. Rose Ann Ferrell.
