Mrs. Rosetta Criss VanRosendale, age 91, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Elma, Washington, February 8, 1932, daughter of the late Valentine Criss and Dovie McKay Criss. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband John Burton VanRosendale; daughter, Lynda Deaver (Frank); and son, Rodney Floyd VanRosendale. Rosetta, better known as Grandma Rose or Grandma Honey, lived her life loving her family. S he was adorable, fun, amazing, wonderful, and had the biggest heart. She remembered every birthday, every anniversary, random details, always wrote letters, sent cards and her homemade chocolate chip cookies. Grandma Rose had such a loving and kind way about her. Her family will forever cherish her memory.

Survivors include her beloved children, Rita Jensen, Steven VanRosendale (Kimberly), Patsy McConnell, Rhonda Perales (Sam), and Audrey VanRosendale (Kelly Layne); 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 4:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the funeral home .

Interment will be May 9, 2023, in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Pallbearers will be Jon Farr, Jeff Farr, Paul Perales, Danny Perales, Kody McQueen, and Reese Keller.
