Mr. Roy Leon Creekmur, Jr., age 80, of Calhoun passed away peacefully Sunday, May 7, 2023.

Roy was born on February 2, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Roy Leon Creekmur, Sr. And Sarah Phillips Creekmur. He was also preceded in death by sister, Donna Sue Stansberry. Roy was a veteran of the United States Army and dedicated the majority of his life serving his country. In 1975, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Business.  The latter part of Roy's life he worked as a supervisor for Shaw Industries.

Survivors include his son, Roy Leon Creekmur, III; granddaughters, Barira Creekmur and Nusaiba Creekmur; sister, Barbara Ann Creekmur Nelson; stepdaughter, Susan Long and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday May 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Roy Leon Creekmur, Jr.
