Mrs. Ruby Jewel Jackson, age 75, of 198 Holcomb Trail, Adairsville, passed away Friday night, March 25, 2011, at Triumph Specialty Hospital at Rome.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Bartow County, GA, November 19, 1935, daughter of the late Frank Hugh (Cobb) Greene and Ruth Lanham Greene. She was a member of Adairsville Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband James D. "Charley" Jackson; 2 brothers, Hugh "Stompy" Greene and Julius Leon "Gid" Green.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Randy (Valerie) Jackson of Calhoun; a daughter, Wanda (Tim) West-Baird; 2 grandchildren, Christy (Adam) Gaddis and Rhett Jackson; 3 great-grandchildren, Kip, KC and Kolby Gaddis; a special grandson, Shane West; a sister, Jean Colston T. W. Colston of Adairsville, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Hilda Jackson of Adairsville, and a sister-in-law Shirley (Lonzo) Hicks of Adairsville, Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn and Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Rhett Jackson, Danny Mealer, Donnie Mealer, Steve Jackson, Mike Wright, Mitch Wright, Mark Wright, Matt Wright, Chris Colston, and Rusty Gwin.

The family will receive friends Monday at Barton Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
