Mrs. Ruth Taylor Newman, age 96, of Adairsville, GA, formerly of Wall, NJ, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018.

She was born in Adelphia, NJ, February 12, 1922, daughter of the late Mary Edna Mount and Myron Russell Taylor. Mrs. Newman was of the Methodist faith. She lived her life loving and caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader. Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Leonard B. Newman; brothers, John Taylor and Russell Taylor as well as two sisters, Reba Beith and Nion Potter.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Newman and Kelly Quabeck of Wall, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and George Wagner of Adairsville; and 4 grandsons, Craig Wagner of Adairsville, GA, Chris and Tranell Wagner of Dallas, GA, Thomas Newman of Wall, NJ, and Matthew Newman of Wall, NJ.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, with Rev. Zack Townsend officiating.
