Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Ann Wood Lemaster, age 57, Adairsville, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, from a long battle of heart problems.
Sandra was born in Columbia, South Carolina, December 22, 1960, daughter of the late Ronald P. Wood and Rose Marie Ford Wood. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1979, Floyd Medical Center School of Radiology, and North Metro Tech for nursing. Her most important things in life were her daughters and precious grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John B. Wood; grandson, Brody Voils.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie Lemaster of Adairsville and Amanda and Aaron Voils of Calhoun; grandchildren, Zachary Postell and Riely Rose Voils; stepmother, Pam Wood of FL and several aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Church Cemetery, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until the time of the service.
The family would like to thank all Sandra's doctors, nurses, and other medical staff for their care and support during this time. The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made in memory of her grandson, Brody Voils to the HLHS Research at Egleston Hospital or choice of any cancer research.
