Mrs. Sarah Louise Wyatt, age 88, of Hickory Hollow, Cartersville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the residence.

She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, January 15, 1926, daughter of the late Arthur Cowart and Pearl Tidwell Cowart. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cartersville and retired from Shaw Industries. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished all her family. Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judy Robinson; grandchildren, Keith Moore, Chris Moore, and Bob Wyatt; sisters, Leona Tant and Bonnie Touchstone; brother, Willis Cowart.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Harold Moore of Adairsville, Brenda and Marshall Gilley of AL, and Diane and Robby Holder of Cartersville; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Phyllis Wyatt of Plainville and Jerry and Mary Wyatt of Dalton; 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. David Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will include Dylan Holder, Anthony Jacobs, Brian Tinch, Derek Holder, and Jason Moore.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
