Mrs. Sheryl Hilley Bright , age 7 2 , of Resaca passed away unexpectedly Wednes day, April 21 , 2021 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, March 1, 1949, daughter of the late. Charles Fredrick Hilley and Margaret Louise Clark Hilley. Sheryl was of the Baptist faith and loved working with people. She enjoyed spending time with her family, arranging flowers, a good trip to the casino, and traveling with her son . Her witty and keen sense of humor will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, L ance Corporal Cody Warren.

Survivors include her son, Marty Bright; daughter, Robin and Tim Patterson; grandchildren, Blake and Tara Warren, Ethan and Jerrica Warren, Dylan Patterson, Sheena and Justin Johnson, and Justin and Megan Patterson; 6 great-grandchildren and her fur baby, Scooby ; special friends, Benny Hall and Lisa McClure Hice .

Funeral services will be held Fri day, April 23 , 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow at Fain Cemetery, Calhoun . Pallbearers include grandsons, Blake Warren, Ethan Warren, Dylan Patterson, and Ryan Evans .

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
