Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Ruth Bagley, 77, of Erwin Hill Road, Adairsville, passed away Sunday (May 10, 2015) at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Washburn, TN, March 1, 1938, daughter of the late Vaughn Williams, Sr. and Nannie Guyton Williams. Mrs. Bagley loved helping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Odas Bagley; sister, Francis Abernathy; brothers, Harold Williams, and Gene Williams.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Allen and Pam Bagley of Adairsville; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Calhoun of Acworth and Carol and Scott Cone of Chickamauga; grandchildren, Jason Bagley, Heather Bagley, Erin Evans, Andrew Shore, Shane Calhoun, Mason Shipp, and Hayden Shipp; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Orville and Idell Williams of Cartersville and Vaughn and Polly Williams of Rome; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Minister Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Jason Bagley, Thomas O. Bagley, Andrew Shore, Carlos Evans, Joe Meeks, and Joe Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Shipp, Hayden Shipp, and Shane Calhoun.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
