Ms. Shirley Ann Harris, 75, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Friday morning, October 20, 2023, at her residence.

Shirley was born in Adairsville, Georgia, January 30, 1948, to the late James Harris and Lizzie Mae Ward Watson. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Jessie Bell Harris and Isiah Ward Odessa whom she loved dearly; She was a member at Gray's Chapel AME Church and retired from Galey and Lord.

Survivors include her fiancé, Greg Jasper; sisters, Sandra Joann (Jimmy)Allen, Nancy Jane (Ray) Fort, Linda Woods, Sylvia Battle, Shelia Rutherford, and Sharon Hawes; brothers, Henry Lee (Margie)Watson, Hugh Anthony Watson, Hamilton (Annie) Watson, and Jeffrey Bernard Watson; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM from Poplar Springs Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
