Mr s . Shirley Anne Smith Pelfrey, 87 , of May Street, Adairsville passed away Thurs day September 16, 2021 at Redmond Regional Medical Center .

Mr. Pelfrey was born in Georgia, February 24, 1934 in Palmetto, Georgia to the late Jesse Lee Smith and Eva May Chiasson Smith. She was preceded in death by h er parents; husband, Franklin Kenneth Pelfrey; son s , Wayne Pelfrey and Garry West; sisters, Odessa Cox, Merdice Carter, Irene McDaniel, and Doris Austin; and brother, Gene Smith.

She is survived by her son, Dean Pelfrey; daughter, Gale West; daughter-in-law, Angie Pelfrey; 4 grandchildren, Chris (Erin) Pelfrey, Jeremy (Carma) Pelfrey, Jessica (Derek) Siebert , and Heather Haygood; great-grandchildren, James Pelfrey and Anderson Adams.

Graveside services will be held Fri day, September 17, 2021 , at 12 :00 PM at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating .
