Mr. Stanley E. Silvey, age 74, of Calhoun, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Georgia, August 29, 1946, son of the late Buster T. Silvey and Beatrice Trout Silvey. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1965. He earned his Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering from Southern Technical Institution in 1970. He retired as an architectural engineer from Lockwood Green in Marietta. Stanley loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Briana. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Altanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Falcons. He also liked the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Brett and Ashley Silvey and Stanton Silvey; and granddaughter, Briana Silvey.

A celebration of Stanley's Life will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 2:00PM at New Town Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Hare. The family will have visitation from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the church.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
