Obituary
Mr. Stanton D. Edwards, 55, of 1248 Thomas Bluff Road, Rome, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the residence.
Mr. Edwards was born in Bartow County, GA, March 24, 1958, son of Edward D. and Audrey Huffman Edwards. He was a member of West Rome Baptist Church and loved riding motorcycles. He is preceded in death by a sister, Darice Arthur.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia G. Edwards of Rome; 2 sons, Jeremy Edwards of Woodstock and Daniel Edwards of Adairsville; parents, Edward and Audrey Edwards of Rome; a step-daughter, Misty Adams of South Carolina; 2 step-sons, Patrick Andrews of North Carolina and Eric Andrews of Plainville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 2:30 PM at West Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun with Rev. Jarrod Roberts and Rev. Ken Oates officiating. Pallbearers include Patrick Andrews, Eric Andrews, Jeremy Adams, Cory Clifton, and Greg Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy and Daniel Edwards.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
