Mr. Steven Anthony Culpepper, age 59, of Adairsville Road, Adairsville, passed away Thursday (October 10, 2013) in Townsend, TN.
Mr. Culpepper was born in Rome, GA, January 7, 1954. He was a member of Shannon First Baptist Church and a truck driver for Mohawk. Mr. Culpepper was a master carpenter and a very talented craftsman.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Zanne Johnson Culpepper of Trion; 2 daughters, Gretchen Wiseman Brock of Armuchee and Claudia Wiseman Markham of Lake Hartwell; 3 grandchildren, Austin Biddy, Reagan Biddy and Annelise Brock; parents, Guy and Alice Culpepper of Adairsville; 2 sisters, Faye Culpepper Darby of Adairsville and Jane Culpepper Cammer of Armuchee; mother-in-law, Jessie Paul of Swainsboro; sister-in-law, Jan and David Brantley of Swainsboro; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 13, 2013, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Long, Rev. Donald Lumpkin, and Jan Brantley officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Greg Everett, Dean Higgins, Barry Higgins, Mike Miller, Kris Crider, and Mark Thornbrough. Honorary pallbearers will be the truck drivers of Mohawk.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
