Mr. Steven Gregory Edwards , age 57 , of Adairsville, the Folsom Community passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his residence in Rossville .

He was born in the Folsom Community, April 22, 1965 , son of Shelba Adcock Edwards and the late James Melvin Edwards. He was of the Baptist faith. Steve was a loving father, son, brother and friend. A passionate and talented musician, Steve played both the piano and guitar. He was outgoing and loved to have a good time. He enjoyed UGA football, fishing, and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Edwards.

Survivors include his children, Chesley Edwards and Chansea Edwards; mother , Shelba Adcock Edwards; brother , Todd Edwards; companion, Amye Phillips and several cousins and good friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 , at 3 :00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home , Adairsville with Rev. Barry Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Hayes Cemetery, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Satur day from 1 :00 PM until 3 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Greg Alexander, Brian Adcock, Michael Edwards, Derek Edwards, Wes Thacker, and Ravee Morrow.
