Mr. Steven Michael Henson, 52, of Old Calhoun Road, Plainville, passed away Sunday morning, February 9, 2014 at Floyd Hospital.

He was born in Rome, GA, October 13, 1961, son of Jeanette Gravely Henson and the late Henry Colonel Henson. Steve loved doing anything with cars, from selling and buying to going to the Rod Run and other car shows. He also enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Henson of Plainville; son and daughter-in-law, Coty and Michelle Henson of Adairsville; mother, Jeanette Henson of Adairsville; granddaughter, Kinsley Henson; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Harvey Petty of Calhoun, Sherrie and Archie Nalbandian of Woodstock, and Donna and Steve Bradshaw of Calhoun; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Tammy Henson of Rome; 2 step-sons, Justin and Nina Garland of Plainville and Nathan Garland of Plainville; 2 step grandchildren, Kenly Garland, and Kaiden Garland; several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 14, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Randy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
