Ms. Tami Yvette Evans Karim, age 54, of Adairsville, passed away Monday evening, September 20, 2021, at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, May 2, 1967, daughter of the late Lewis Eugene Evans and Barbara Jo Dutton Evans. She was employed by Shaw Industries in the customer service department. She loved being a Nana to her precious Nova and Samir and Mami to her sweet Madylin and Ava. She was a gifted and talented pianist that could play many songs by ear. Tami was a true girly-girl; she loved shopping and thought you could always use new handbags and makeup. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, laying out at the pool, and being with her friends and family. Ms. Karim was preceded in death by her parents and biological mother, Kathy Sumrall Moran.

Survivors include her daughter, Leah Karim (Anthony Sisler); grandchildren, Nova Sisler and Samir Hammad; sisters, Courtney Franklin (Marty) and Tawny Hudspeth (Don); brothers, Shaun Evans (Sarah) and Joey Sumrall (Tonya); nieces and nephews, Kirstin Rogers (James), Tiffany Franklin, Hunter Franklin, Aniston Franklin, Madylin Evans, and Ava Evans.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Jeff Dutton and James Shope officiating. Interment will follow in Erwin Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Barton Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include, Marty Franklin, Hunter Franklin, Anthony Sisler, James Rogers, and Don Hudspeth.
