Ms. Tammy Renee Beaver (Mathison), age 59, of Cartersville, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday, July 6, 2024, at her residence.

Tammy was born in Rome, Georgia, July 18, 1964, daughter of the late Ernest James "E. J." Beaver and Eva Corine Gayton Beaver. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Brenda Roberson and Pat Hamrick, and brother, Larry Beaver.

Tammy had a love of laughter and was always ready with a good joke. A lover of music, Tammy was always singing and had a beautiful voice. She was an avid reader, enjoyed drawing, and was a beautiful writer. She was often jotting down poems in her younger years before arthritis set in. All these attributes were passed down and mirrored in her daughters and grandchildren. She never met a stranger and left a lasting impression everywhere she went. She loved God and sitting on her front porch reading her Bible. She was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be missed forever.

Survivors include her beloved children, Brandy and Russ Long, Mindy and Valente Gomez, and April and Kevin Jones; siblings, Karen and Doug Kirby and Carlos Beaver; brothers-in-law, Lamar Hamrick and Cliff Roberson; grandchildren, JR Gomez, Yasmin Gomez, Aiden Long, Alley Gomez, Jacob Jones, Sebastian Gomez, and Allorah Long; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Tammy's life will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Creekside Fellowship Church, Cartersville with Rev. Michael Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church.
