Ms. Teresa Virginia Calderoni, age 57, passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 16, 2020, at her tranquil cabin home in Ellijay.

She was born in New York March 7th, 1963 to the late Louis Calderoni and Virginia "Dixie" Peck Calderoni. Teresa graduated from John I. Leonard high school in Florida 1981. She had continued on to work in property management for various companies all across the U.S. Teresa loved to make people happy, that was what always meant the most to her. She loved all types of music deeply. Above all musicians was Elton John, who she was honored enough to see twice in concert. She was the perfect momma to her baby girl, Allanah Mynes. She was an incredible rescue dog mom and always made sure that she treated her fur babies like they were truly her children.

Ms. Calderoni was preceded in death by her parents; her Great Aunt Helen; and precious fur baby, Marble.

She is survived by her daughter, Allanah J. Mynes and her significant other, Michael B. Stout; her sister, Nancy Melden; nephews, Chris Melden and Josh Melden; her "bonus daughter", Crystal Mynes-Newgen and her big loving family; her sweet sweet fur baby Odin; her best friend, Tony Cada and so very many of her loved and adored friends from across the country and her lifetime.

A Celebration of Teresa's Life will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home.

It is a nonprofit organization ran by one of Teresa's dear high school friends aimed at providing temporary shelter, veterinary care, and endless amounts of love to neglected, abused, abandoned, and surrendered animals for the purpose of finding permanent, loving homes in the Southeastern North and South Carolina. Teresa supported this organization abundantly and ran a fundraiser every year on her birthday for Rosey's Rescue.
