Mr. Terry J. Dubois , age 6 8 , born March 24, 1954 , passed away Tues day, Octo ber 4 , 2022, at a local hospital surrounded by his loving family . Terry was a lifelong resident of Adairsville, Georgia but native of Gallaino, Louisiana. He was p receded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Dubois; 2 brothers, Mor rison Dubois and Jerry Dubois; and brother-in-law, Cleveland Chouest, Jr .

Survivors include his loving wife, Malessa Dubois; daughter, Faith Allred and husband Buck; son, Rick Nelson; sisters, Jean Chou es t, Charlene Romero and husband Ken, and Laura Guidry and husband Mike; godchildren, Jolyne D. Arceneaux, Maurice Dubois, and Crystallynn Marie Chou e s t; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dubois was a member of NorthPoint e Church, Adairsville. Terry worked as a commercial fisherman before becoming a master carpenter. He had great sense of humor that always had everyone laughing. Terry enjoyed square dancing for the last several years and never turned down a trip home to the bayou for some fresh seafood and fishing. Funeral services will be held Fri day, October 7 , 2022, at 11 :00 A M from the chapel o f Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, Rome . Pallbearers will be Dale Spears, Jeff Spears, Jamie Archer, Bradley Archer, Byron Littlefield, Paxton Hamby, and Ronnie Feyerabend .

The family will receive friends Fri day morning from 9 :00 A M until 11 :00 A M at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
