Terry Clyde Hall

Mr. Terry Clyde Hall, age 71, of Adairsville, GA, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 18, 2026. Mr. Hall was born in Marietta, GA, on October 27, 1954, son of the late Billie Dove Butterworth Hall and Clyde Hall, Jr.

Mr. Hall, a man of remarkable intellect, gentle spirit, and deep faith, is leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and quiet strength. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force who served during the twilight of the Vietnam Era, Terry continued his commitment to service through the Air National Guard. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a career that took him all over the world—including Germany, France, Belgium, and Australia, amongst others—where he designed and implemented advanced systems to improve the proficiency and ergonomics of manufacturing and automation. Yet, for all his professional accomplishments abroad, his heart remained firmly rooted at home and in his faith as a well known and loved citizen of Adairsville and dedicated member of Dry Creek Baptist Church. Known for a peaceful demeanor, few, if any, ever heard him raise his voice in anger, but he would lift his voice in song – a gifted singer and musician who could play the piano, mandolin, bass, and numerous other instruments entirely by ear. For over 22 years, he shared this God-given talent with others as he performed live with the gospel group, The Temples, playing the bass guitar and mandolin. A true jack-of-all-trades who could fix or build anything, Terry took joy in building and home remodeling projects, casting a line while fishing, and keeping everyone smiling with his playful knack for joking around and cutting up. Above all else, he cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife, children, grandchildren and especially his two great-granddaughters, whose lives were forever brightened by his steady presence and unwavering love.

Survivors include his devoted wife of over 49 years, Brenda Mae Jackson Hall of Adairsville; two sons, Justin Hall and Chris “Scooby” Hall, both of Adairsville; daughter, Mindy Hall of Sandpoint, ID; three granddaughters, Montana (Alex) Santillan, Ava-Grace Edwards, and Addisyn Hall; two great-granddaughters, Alayna and Ariella Santillan; a sister, Pam (Tommy) Fitts of Waleska; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Randy Jackson and Mr. Mike Smith officiating. The United States Air Force Honor Guard will perform Military Rites to conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the service begins.
