Obituary
Mr. Terry Lynn Vaughan, age 48, of Dogwood Drive, Cartersville, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Emory Hospital.
He was born in Rome, GA, August 13, 1968, son of Kenneth Lamar Vaughan and the late Linda McElrath Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan was a member of Freedom Worship Center. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, going camping, and taking the boat out. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Terry was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and son, he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda McElrath Vaughan and brothers, Donald Eugene Vaughan and Alton Lamar Vaughan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Brenda Vaughan; children, Whitney Nicole (Jovanni) Flores, Cassie Vaughan (Derek) Davis, Joseph Wynn Young, Kelly Young (Aca) Moseley; father, Kenneth Vaughan; brother, Kenny Lee Vaughan; grandchildren, Jaylen and Isaiah Flores, Brayden, Cooper, and Aubree Davis, Adrian and Emelia Moseley, and Lauren Young (Anthony) Lam; great-granddaughter, Alora Lam.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Ministers Ronnie Richardson and Doug Simons officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Cartersville. Pallbearers include Bobby Flores, John Goltz, Shane Dover, Dustin Strickland, Justin Guyton, and James Howell.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
