IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy
Greer
August 8, 1959 – September 3, 2024
Timothy Greer, a man whose infectious smile could light up any room, passed away unexpectedly leaving a void in the hearts of his loved ones. Known for his kindness, selflessness, and humility, Tim was a gentle giant whose presence brought immense joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His love for history and science fiction was well-known, often sparking fascinating conversations and inspiring those around him. Tim also had a passion for being outdoors and fishing, finding peace and joy in the quiet moments by the water. He was dedicated to providing for his family and always ensured they were cared for and supported. He enjoyed deep conversation and could often be heard pouring into friends and family over the phone and he diligently checked in on the hearts that he held close to him. His love for his animals spoke volumes to the absolute goodness in his soul, and just days before his passing, had specifically spoken to his concern for their hearts if he ever were to be called home. An absolute testament to his commitment, love, and loyalty to even the smallest souls.
One of the most fundamental parts of Tim was his deep love for Jesus, which moved him profoundly. This love guided his actions and interactions, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.
He was an incredible husband, father and grandfather and his legacy of kindness and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for the happiness he brought into the world and the love he shared with those around him.
Son, Dad, Dadders, husband, Pop Pop, Grampa, brother, friend. So much to so many. Forever loved, cherished and missed but absolutely never forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hope Greer; mother, Barbara Greer; children, Richard and Jessie Brooks, River Greer and fiancé Daulton Macklem, Chris & Ashley Koblegard, Stevie & Abigail Kesner, Matthew & Amber Kennison; grandchildren, Kasey, Nolan, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Mattilyn Kennison, and Adam and Chad Lynn; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Steve Cortie.
