Mr. Travis "Bo" Patterson, age 51, of 134 Davis Drive, Cartersville, GA passed away Tuesday evening, October 30, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center.

He was born in Cartersville, GA, March 13, 1961, son of the late Elmer Lee Patterson and Tinnie Mae Tidwell Patterson. He had attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Kenneth Patterson and Lamar Patterson; 2 sisters, Peggy Brown and Bobbie Rudeseal.

Survivors include his wife, Shelley Patterson of Cartersville, a son and daughter-in-law, Levi and Tasha Patterson of Cartersville; a daughter, Scottie Patterson of Adairsville; 7 grandchildren, Brody Patterson, Tru Patterson, Maddalyn Adams, Mikala Patterson, Dalton Stringer, Skyy Stringer, and Gauge Lee; a brother, Charles Patterson of Adairsville; 2 sisters, Linda Jennings of Adairsville and Sue Patterson of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2 2012, at 4:30 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Josh James and Rev. Marlon Haney officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Cartersville. Terry Day, Michael Patterson, Tommy Rudeseal, Daniel Rudeseal, Dean Adcock, and Kenneth Patterson will serve as pallbearers. Chris Patterson, Scott Bruce, Michael Brown, and Shane Patterson will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until 4:30 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
