Mr. T.W. Colston, age 85, of Adairsville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, October 8, 2019, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Colston was born in Gordon County, December 29, 1933, son of the late Coley Colston and Ama Lee Sutton Colston. He was a member of Adairsville Church of Christ and retired from the Bartow County School Board. A dedicated husband, father, and papa, he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jason Colston; son-in-law, Donald "Duck" Pasley; and sister, Bobbie Jean Cobb.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Jean Greene Colston; children, Deborah Pasley, Tammy (Ty) McClure, Frani (Herb) Brackin, Stacey (David) Parker, and Chris (Tanya) Colston; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joy Thacker and Rabun Helton; brother, Jerry (Mildred) Colston and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2019, at 12:00 noon from the Church of Christ, Adairsville with Minister Rick Lawson and Elder Kevin Sutton officiating. Interment will follow Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pasley, Paul Brackin, Dustin Autry, Rusty Gwin, Ben Brackin, Shane Elrod, and Ethan Leach.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
