Vernon Brian West, age 69, of Rome, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Atrium Floyd Hospital.

Brian was born in Rome, GA, December 15, 1954, son of the late Cora Brown West Beetle and Vernon West. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis West. Brian owned and operated West Grocery in Adairsvile for numerous years. He enjoyed operating heavy machinery, the outdoors, and fishing.

Survivors include his son Justin West; grandchildren, Jack, Shelby, and Ansley West, brother, Richard West; nephews, JaJay Cantrell and Chris McEntyre; and niece, Melanie Smith.

Honoring Brian's wishes he will be cremated.
