Mrs. Veronica Zemaitis Kukla, age 89, passed away Friday afternoon, October 26, 2012 at Cartersville Heights Care.
She was born February 5, 1923, in Lowell, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Ogubricitate Zemaitis. Mrs. Kukla was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Hall Station Road in Adairsville and dedicated her life to preaching God's Kingdom as a faithful Jehovah's witness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Anthoni Kukla, Sr., grandson, Jeremy Jelken, and 7 siblings.
Survivors include her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Anthoni and Ann Kukla, Jr., of Cornwallville, NY and Michael Philip and Linda Kukla, of Greenville, NY; a daughter and sons-in-law, Marianne Vera and Hayo Jelken of Adairsville; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, at 7:00 PM from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Hall Station Road in Adairsville with Minister DeVon Michaels officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Hall Station Congregation, at P. O. Box 265, Adairsville, GA 30103.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Veronica Kukla.
