Mrs. Vickie Gail Smith Moss , age 64 , of Rydal , passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, October 13 , 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Vickie was born in Cartersville , GA, October 23, 1956 , daughter of late James Maynard Smith and Aileen Hufstetler Smith. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and always enjoyed singing in the choir. Her greatest accomplishment was her family. She loved nothing more than being a wife, mother, and mawmaw. She liked being at the ocean, cooking for family and friends, and sewing. Vickie will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ashley Deanne Moss; and brother, Donald Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years , Douglas Moss; sons, Jared Moss and wife Elisha and Jordan Esau Moss; granddaughter, Cadence Moss; siblings, Ronald Smith(Johnnie), Linda Griffith(Jimmy), Syble Wilson (Donald), John Smith(Barbara), and Gene Smith (Elizabeth); several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Satur day, October 1 6 , 2021, at 4 :00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Reverend s Reggie Temples and Forrest Leachman officiating. Vickie's nephews will serve as h onorary p allbearers.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until 4 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church, 3855 Highway 140, Rydal, Georgia, 301 71.
