Ms. Vida Mae Dickerson, age 92, of Adairsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2024.

She was born in Fulton County, Georgia, November 6, 1931, daughter of the late Paul Jack Williams and Ethel Ealm Williams. Vida was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles L. Dickerson, Sr.; son, Samuel Dickerson; daughter Rosemary Shuman (Dale); granddaughter, Melissa Shuman; grandson, Daniel Shuman; and sister, Ramona Smith. Ms. Dickerson was a faithful Christian and member of New Life Ministries Church.

Survivors include her son, Charles "Chuck" Dickerson; daughter-in-law, Tina Dickerson; grandchildren, Scarlett Fowler, Stephanie Skimehorn, Nicole Dickerson, Tracy Manry, Amanda Helton, Angela Dickerson, and Addie Dickerson; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Jack Williams, Jr. and Walter Lamar Williams; sister, Frances Norton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00AM at New Life Ministries Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Steve Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in Marietta City Cemetery. Ms. Dickerson's family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00PM at New Life Ministries Church, 311 North Main Street, Adairsville, GA 30103.
