Mrs. Virginia Hale Cagle, age 85, formerly of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Calhoun Health Care.
Mrs. Cagle was born in Kingston, Georgia, February 20, 1930, daughter of the late Lawrence and Addie Hubbard Hale. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Alvin Cagle and late husband, Joe Simpson; son, Ronald Cagle; grandson, Shane Cagle; sisters, Betty Bennett and Frances McMitchen; brothers, Ray Hale and Ernest Hale.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Lanita Cagle of Calhoun and Danny and Linda Cagle of Plainville; grandchildren, Jody and Tamela Cagle of Cartersville, Jeff Cagle of Plainville, and Melissa and Chad Ray of Sonoraville; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Jody Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church. Pallbearers include Steve Cagle, Danny Cagle, Jeff Cagle, Justin Cagle, Marty Baker, and Terry Hale.
