Mrs. Virginia Culberson Chandler, age 76, of Adairsville passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018.

She was born in Adairsville, GA, March 30, 1941, daughter of the late Ed and Beulah Lee Culberson. She was a graduate of Carroll Lynn Business School in Rome after which she was employed for 34 years by the Georgia Department of Transportation as an auditor and later a property negotiator. In earlier years she enjoyed deer hunting with her husband, camping at Watts Barr Lake, playing canasta with friends, and was always an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Woodrow Chandler, Sr. to whom she was married to for 49 years, and son, Charles "Chuck" Woodrow Chandler, Jr.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Billy and Margaret Chandler of Cartersville and sister-in-law, Sarah Enzor of Mobile, AL; nephew, Bill and Jamie Chandler and niece, Beth and Scott Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
