Mrs. Willie Mae McGuire, 98, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Frankfort Kentucky.

She was born in Pinbook, GA, June 18, 1914, daughter of the late Wilburn L. and Betty Moss Cochran. She moved to Kentucky in 1936 and lived in Lynch, KY until 1974 when she moved back to Adairsville, in the area where most of her family lived. In 2006 she went back to KY, living at The Harrod in Harrodsburg. Mrs. McGuire was of the Methodist faith and a retired homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank McGuire; sisters, Mildred Pelfrey, Marie Wilson, and Colene Cochran; and a brother, Joe Cochran.

Survivors include her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Melissa McGuire of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and Carl and Ayla McGuire of Istanbul, Turkey; 4 grandchildren, Laura McGuire of Houston, TX, Ayse McGuire of San Diego, CA, Kean P. McGuire of Houston, TX, and Dennis McGuire of Istanbul, Turkey; 2 sisters, Kate Hawkins of Dalton and Eddie Goswick of Calhoun.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens, Calhoun.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
