Mrs. Wilma Jean West, of Adairsville, formerly of Marietta passed away Thursday morning, September 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving children two days before turning 93.

Mrs. West was born in Carroll County, Tennessee, September 23, 1930, daughter of the late Samuel Carroll and Eva Lowe Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Billy West; siblings, Lorene Carroll, Geneva West, Yvonne Shoemaker, Bootsie Rybicki, Eddie Carroll, and Carl Wilson. She was a member of First Christian Church of Adairsville. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Billie Jean West and Pandora West; son, Todd West; grandsons, William Patrick Moffitt and Raven Alexander West; great-grandson, William Brian Moffitt; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Michael Westmoreland officiating. Pallbearers will be Shane West, Raven West, Robert West, Philip Pealor, Terry West, and Patrick Moffitt.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
